Color Flashlight

Color Flashlight is a tool for Android that lets you use different features on your phone or tablet to light up a dark room.

Color Flashlight has two different modes: the first lets you use the camera flash as a flashlight, and consumes a lot of battery; the second lights up the screen in a single color, consuming much less battery in the process.

The configuration options for the flash mode are limited, but for the screen illumination mode they are quite broader-ranging. You can select the screen brightness and, more importantly, the color, choosing red, blue, yellow, etc.

The rest of the options in Color Flashlight are very basic, allowing you to hide the controls with just a touch of the screen, or write text on the screen so it shows up over a dark background.
